Luke 10:38-42 Martha and Mary - Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord's feet, listening to His word. But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me." But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

Speak my love and I will listen to thee
I’ll rest at your feet, for eternity if need be
To receive the message only you can give me
A key to opening my heart and setting it free
(Martha Speaks)
Oh my love, do you see how she rests
While I toil and slave for all of these guests
Bid her to come help me cook and serve for this fest
She can come back to you once we clean up the mess
(Jesus Speaks)
Martha my love, don’t worry about a thing
Mary’s doing what she needs to hear the message I bring
Come sit and listen and your soul will sing
I will teach you about God, our Father and King.
Oh Martha, Oh Mary, no rivalries here
Listen and serve without any fear
I love you both, you are so dear
I need your gifts, it is good we are here
Martha and Mary your differences are good
My Father dispenses gifts as only He could
I do not judge either of your parts
Deep down I know the intention of your hearts
