Mary!'s Reflections I love music, If I could be God's instrument, which would I choose? How about you? I've wondered what will happen when I die and meet the Lord himself. What will he say to me? What will I say to him? Will my life flash before us both? Will I have to relive everything I've done, or opportunities I've missed? I often think how small and insignificant I am when I think of myself in relationship to the entire world. If God were to hold me in his hand, what could I compare myself to, but a grain of sand. Just the smallness and insignificance of it, yet the intricacies that are instilled in each grain of sand boggles my mind. Does music move you? I think of life as one large sock hop, and we are all invited to dance by God. It's up to us to stand up, take his hand and dance. Which type of dancer are you? Do you ever wonder why on Earth Christ died for you? How could someone who I've never met, taken the nails for everything I was to do 2,000 years later? I often think how one single decision that I make might affect those around me. How far does that ripple effect go? In this last year, I've discovered the blessings of Centering Prayer. This poem basically gives you instructions on how to perform this simple form of prayer. Have you ever thought about what is normal anymore? Things that were once normal seem almost odd now. Things that were not accepted only a few short decades ago are now commonplace. I am not making any judgments on anyone, simply observations. Who or what do you worship? Do you hold someone in high regard? Are they worthy of it? Do you realize that we are all human? We all make mistakes? Do you sit back and wait for life to happen to you because you are afraid to make things happen?
